Start-up RegTech company, Evidology Systems, nominated by FStech Awards

Evidology Systems Ltd., the London-based RegTech company, has been shortlisted by this year’s FStech Awards. The firm, which aids companies in their compliance with regulations such as GDPR, FRTB, SMCR and ISO 27001, has been chosen as a finalist in the “FinTech or InsurTech Startup of the Year” category for the 2021 awards.

Evidology Systems was founded in November 2019, by Rupert Brown and Ian Hillier-Brook, and is the creator of revolutionary RegTech technology, QED (Quality and Evidence Driven). With financial firms currently overwhelmed with the rate of change to regulations and laws which are continually evolving, QED allows businesses to monitor the regulatory landscape and implement any changes that are needed, ultimately adhering to all requirements. In contrast to anything else on the market, QED is the only system able to take a regulation from a PDF file and translate it into a consistent, comparable structure which can be processed electronically.

Rupert Brown, CTO and founder of Evidology Systems, said: “It is great to have been nominated for this award. As a start-up, nominations for a prestigious award like FStech, fill us with great confidence and confirm our belief that our work is unique and having a great impact on the industry.”

Brown added: “Not only have we ensured deep integration with Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams but this year we are ensuring that our QED platform has truly real-time horizon scanning, allowing for the systematic examination of real-time feeds from institutions, news agencies and a range of social media platforms to identify potential risks.”

In their 21st year, the FStech Awards recognise excellence and innovation within the UK and EMEA financial services industries. Winners will be celebrated at an in-person ceremony, Covid permitting, on 8th September 2021.
