Evidology Systems named best LegalTech company in 2021

Evidology Systems has been ranked the best LegalTech company by TechRound in their 2021 rankings. The creators of the risk assurance QED (Quality and Evidence Driven) platform, Evidology Systems, have led the industry in the systematic interpretation of statutory and regulatory texts to ensure businesses are able to stay compliant with principles-based regulations. Companies chosen by TechRound to feature in the Top 25 LegalTech rankings, had to be able to display an ability to solve industry-wide problems as well as demonstrate success through a technical concept.

Lawyers, regulators and sector vendors have struggled for many years to accurately bind the content and intent of legal texts to IT systems and repositories, most notably failing to create and maintain industry-standard, machine-readable glossaries for terminology, risks and controls. Evidology Systems has developed the first platform that delivers an operational pipeline from PDF-based laws and regulations into a version-controlled, globally distributed operating model. This allows businesses of all sizes to ensure they are meeting compliance requirements sustained by agile and continuous delivery practices.

Rupert Brown, CTO and Founder of Evidology Systems, said:

“It’s great to be recognised as the leading LegalTech company in 2021 by TechRound for our one-of-a-kind approach to tackling compliance with principles-based regulations. Our QED platform’s unique use of visual argumentation design is a breakthrough in this industry and, importantly, allows financial services businesses to demonstrate and sustain compliance with regulations that have been previously difficult to interpret.”

Evidology Systems was founded in 2019 to address the many regulatory difficulties experienced by financial firms struggling to stay on top of continually evolving regulations and laws. Its revolutionary platform, QED (Quality and Evidence Driven) uses an argumentation approach to ensure businesses are able to ensure risk assurance and stay compliant for principles-based regulations. QED can be used by businesses in any sector, including for international regulations such as the EU’s GDPR and PSD2, in English and other language texts.
