Evidology Systems named finalist as Best Innovative Technology for Regulatory Compliance in RegTech Insight Awards

17 March 2020, London: Evidology Systems Ltd., the market leading technology provider for principles-based regulations, is announcing today that its QED software has been shortlisted as Best Innovative Technology for Regulatory Compliance in the RegTech Insight Awards 2020. This is the second shortlist of 2020, following the National Technology Awards, naming Evidology as finalist in the RegTech Project of the Year category.

QED (Quality and Evidence Driven), is uniquely aimed at all principles-based regulations (such as SMCR, GDPR, PSD2 and others), standards and policies. QED provides clients with the consistently-structured digital approach needed to underpin the legal defence of any claim. It is using a concept based on ancient Greek philosophy, argumentation, which is a process of defining a claim, supporting it with a chain of arguments and providing an evidence platform to back it up.

The RegTech Insight Awards, by A-Team Insights, recognise the best providers of regulatory technology services. With 34 different categories aimed at vendors and consultancies, the awards are judged by the A-Team editors and the RegTech Insight Awards Advisory Board. The board is formed of 14 industry specialists from international financial corporations.

Rupert Brown, CTO of Evidology Systems, said: “It is a great pleasure to be shortlisted for such an important award in our space. Our work at Evidology Systems is motivated by the continuous changes we see in our industry and our mission is to bring unique solutions to a market with limited innovation. Being named finalists in the Best Innovative Technology for Regulatory Compliance category is an acknowledgement of the work we do here and is only driving us to continue innovating to resolve our clients’ challenges.”
Using an industry-standard visualisation tool, QED can be deployed without affecting underlying systems. The platform’s ability to address regulations as they evolve gives companies a strategic advantage with the highest level of ongoing defence and consistently-argued evidence against liability.
